Those on island this weekend got a great flavor of what Nantucket Albie fishing typically is.  There were lots of fish around, specifically around great point.  There were many reports of fish caught as well, but many more talked about fish on, seeing fish, missing fish etc…  With it being the tuesday after labor day, the crowds are gone and so too will the pressure lessen on the fish.  Go get out there.  This time of year is a gift to those remaining.  Over the next week Albies will fill in Madaket as well as the inside of great point.  Go wet a line and come tell us a story!
