There was an incredible break through in fly-rod technology over the past year and at BFO we are excited about sharing it with our customers.  Loomis has come out with the 7’6 Short Stix series which has 8/9,10/11 and 11/12.

The rods are stiff through the butt, but great play in the tip and are designed to load incredibly quickly and to lessen false casts. With the design of shooting heads, line now has a lot more forward weight, like a spinning rod with casting a lure.  But the old design was not built for these heavier lines.  The 7’6 is a dream to cast and Anyone looking to drop more line in a shorter period of time will love it.
