With Daffodil weekend behind us and wine festival ahead, Nantucket is officially in the first stages of the famous summer season and as expected the fish are acting how we had hoped.  They are not big yet, nor are they thick yet, but there are enough to keep us excited.  Nantucket is known for big Striped Bass in June, but those that spend May here, know that May is a gift and can reward us with incredible days that most who come to nantucket in Mid-Summer have no idea about.  If you love fishing, you should spend time on Nantucket in May and early June as it is like the beginning of baseball or hockey season.  It is just exciting.
